This is the new boat at Porthole Dive Charters here in Puget Sound. The Mark V. She is a 2008 custom Armstrong multi hull built for rough water. Equipped with a spacious heated cabin, with video monitors for viewing your u/w video or digital photos, marine head with hot shower, galley serving hot lunch between dives, camera table with fresh water rinse tank, battery charghing hookups, gen set, fresh water maker, 22 cubic foot Nuvair compressor with a Nitrox membrane to fill you up between dives, and powerful twin 6 cylinder Volvo Diesels to get us there fast. We also have a rigid hull inflatable with a 40 hp outboard to serve as a diver chase/pickup boat when needed. The boat is USCG Inspected for 14 divers, SOLUS certified for international travel. All the Captains are USCG Licensed Masters and certified Emergancy Medical Technicians (two are fully certified Paramedics) as well as avid divers. Our deck crew are all certified Divemasters. The boat runs in winter from Harbor Island in Seattle to several Puget Sound dive sites and in summer we'll be running out of Neah Bay, home to some of the most fantastic cold water diving in the world!!!! It's the nicest day dive charter boat in Washington. We also have several multi day charters planned to the San Juan Islands. These are resort package deals that include lodging.
