While diving at Point Dalco Wall located in the Puget Sound of Washington State (USA) dive boat captains Mike Ferguson and Craig Miller of Porthole Dive Charters filmed a large rare 6 Gill shark close up and in the wild. This is a video that contains the raw encounter in its entirity as well as some narrative about the dive. This video was picked up by several television news stations to include local and national media. The video was shot with a Light & Motion Bluefin housing system using a Sony TRV 900 camera and Elite Halogen lights. The depth was 157 fsw or 47.5 msw. The month was August.
