Diving Services offered by Technical Diving and Supply

Hull Inspection, survey, cleaning and zinc replacement 

These services are charged by the hour. Rates are $70.00 for the first hour, and $50.00 each additional hour. $15.00 additional for video survey of the entire underwater area of the hull provided on VHS Tape. If there are two or more jobs scheduled in the same marina, the flat fee of $50.00 per hour is charged. Inspectons can be scheduled on a repeating 3-4 or 6 month basis at the $50.00 per hour rate. This service includes removal of all marine growth, changing any zincs that are down to 30% or less, inspection of hull surfaces, props, struts, trim tabs, rams, through hulls, and fittings or brackets below the waterline. A written report is provided. Video as requested. These prices are for service in the Tacoma/Olympia/DesMoines metro areas. A $30.00 travel fee is charged for service to Seattle. Zincs are extra as needed. The customer is welcome to provide these, or we can provide them at very competative prices.

Moorage and Bouy Maintenence 

These services are priced on a bid basis. Due to the complexity of servicing these systems, we need to come out and do an analysis of the work to be performed. Usually, the rough cost of $75.00 for the first hour and $50.00 each additional hour will see the job completed. If the site is accessable to the diver from shore, it greatly reduces the overall cost. These systems should be inspected annually at the beginning of the season to insure they are sufficienly maintained to hold your vessel. A $50.00 consulting fee is charged to inspect the job site and make an assessment of the work to be performed. This fee is refunded after the job has been completed.

 Video Survey of Vessels and Structures

Priced on a bid basis, these diving services are for inspection of any structure below the water. Bridges, Pilings, sunken vessels, wreckage, obsrtuctions, and any other underwater target can be dove and put on video for you review. A full written report will be provided and a copy of the video footage will be compiled and put on your choice of medium. If required a professional video presentation can be created and edited to use in presentations to groups or agencies for an additional fee.

Salvage

This work is done on a case by case basis. The situation will be assessed and a written proposal will be made based on the requirements of the particular job. An initial consulting fee of $50.00 will be charged at the time of assessment, and refunded on completion of the work.
